European Labour Mobility Congress (ELMC) is the largest cyclical event in Europe devoted to posting of workers and the freedom to provide services.
On April 7th and 8th entrepreneurs, representatives of politics, administration and science met in Krakow in order to answer the most important questions regarding posting of workers and export of Polish services. As in previous year, the main theme of the Congress was devoted to the enforcement directive on posting of workers.
II European Labour Mobility Congress featured prominent European experts in the field. During plenary session the organizers hosted speakers responsible for negotiations of the new regulations, as well as interpretation of the current legislation on free movement of workers and services. During second day of the Congress, participants had an opportunity to take part in workshops on practical application of existing regulations concerning validation and verification of A1 forms.
Like previous year, a prestigious Labor Mobilis 2014 prize was awarded at the Official Gala Reception, held on the first day of the Congress, for outstanding contribution to promote and support free movement of workers and services – EU fundamental values which enable to employ more than 340 000 Poles and ensure the existence of 24 000 Polish companies.
