DLA Piper at ELMC – Workshops, Business Fair and Consultations in the Experts’ Village

In ELMC Agenda four workshops devoted to the subject of posting workers to Germany can be found. One of them is the DLA Piper workshop – ELMC Partner run jointly by lawyers from Poland and Germany.

On the second day of the EKMP, the workshop “How to legally post workers  to Germany? Obligations and challenges as seen by Polish adn German lawyers” will be led by representatives of DLA Piper: Dr. Bernd Borgmann, Partner in the German Offices andDominika Nowak, Senior Associate in the Polish Offices.

It will take place between 10.10 – 11.40 in Room Podgórze.

For the first time in history of the ELMC you will have an opportunity to participate in a workshop run by a duet of practicing lawyers from two different EU countries. Each of the speakers will share their experience and a different perspective – of the Polish and German legal system.

Proper regulations in the field of labor law will be presented, but first of all the procedures and obligations resulting from them for entrepreneurs posting workers to Germany – all this on the example of specific case studies based on the issues that both speakers were giving.

There will also be references to the introduction of Directive 2018/957 amending the provisions on the posting of workers to German law, including what steps should be taken by entrepreneurs already contracting in Germany before 30 July 2020, and those who will start them before that date .
