Jadwiga Emilewicz

Ministry of Economic Development

Appointed as minister of entrepreneurship and technology in 2018. From 2015 to 2018 undersecretary at the Polish Ministry of Economic Development. Previously Director of the Museum of Poland under the Communist Regime in Krakow. Between 1999-2002 she served in the Foreign Affairs Department at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. Currently Member of the Regional Council of Małopolska. Graduate and PhD Candidate at the Jagiellonian University of Krakow.

Expert on social security of workers posted abroad within the framework of free provision of services. Frederic De Wispelaere

University of Leuven

Frederic De Wispelaere is currently senior research associate at HIVA-KU Leuven. He holds a Master in Business Administration (EHSAL – Brussels) and a Master in corporate law (Ghent University – Law Faculty). He is currently involved in the Network Statistics on free movement of workers, social security coordination and fraud and error. This network is set up by the European Commission DG EMPL to collect and analyse statistics and administrative data on those three fields. Within this network he is among others responsible for the annual report on the posting of workers. Furthermore he has published several papers and reports on the use and impact of posting from a perspective of sending and receiving Member States.

Filip Van Overmeiren is a lawyer and academic with 14 years of experience in national and international social law, with a specialization in national and EU/international social security law and a specific interest for EU social security coordination, social fraud, the impact of the internal market on social protection and the free movement of EU citizens. In 2018 appointed as Professor at Ghent University. He was and is involved in large- and small-scale advisory projects, both as practising lawyer as in his academic function at Ghent University. He has a broad network in both academia as within national and supranational institutions.

prof. Michele Faioli

Tor Vergata University

Michele Faioli is a professor at Law School of Tor Vergata University in Rome (Italy). He teaches courses in the areas of labor relations and comparative labor law. Professor Faioli is a Faculty Fellow at Scuola Europea di Relazioni Industriali (SERI-FGB) where he chairs the theme project for Eurofound and other EU Institutions on Industrial Relations, Italian and European Labor Law, Social Security. He maintains a website on this matters aimed at colleagues and students (www.seri-fgb.eu). Michele Faioli has written widely on posting of workers, social security, international labor rights and other topics for a variety of law reviews and journals.

Prof. Dr. Arne Petermann

Prof. Dr. Arne Petermann is Professor of Management at the Berufsakademie für Gesundheits- und Sozialwesen Saarland (BAGSS). He is also scientific director of the Institute for Quality and Innovation in Homecare (IQH), a non-profit research and education institution at BAGSS. As a visiting scholar, he was teaching organization science and scientific simulation methods in the PhD-program at the School for Business and Economics at Freie Universität Berlin from 2007 to 2014. He was head of international executive educations programs, i.e. for Mercedes_Benz (USA+China) and Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK). He is founder and CEO of Linara GmbH and Linara FairCare GmbH, international HR agencies specialized in the transnational European homecare sector. He is also founder and CEO of 3P Projects GmbH, a consulting and executive education company based in Berlin, Germany. Since 2017 he is chairman of the board of Verband für häuslicher Betreuung und Pflege (VHBP) e.V. In executive education his expertise focuses on HR, leadership and entrepreneurship. His research focuses on leadership, organization science, path-dependence theory, entrepreneurship, home care services and social simulation, especially agent-based modeling. His research results have been presented at the leading international science conferences in his field, including the Academy of Management and the American Marketing Association Educators Conference. His work was recognized with several best paper awards. His work is published in books and peer-reviewed journals.
