Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, Radosław Mleczko has been awarded with the Labor Mobilis 2014 Award. Nominations for all candidates for the award were handed out by Danuta Jazłowiecka, MEP – laureate of the Labor Mobilis 2013.

The Competition Jury justified its decision by emphasizing  the effectiveness of the Undersecretary of State in the defense of the freedom of labor mobility and dissemination of legal and secure employment in the framework of free provision of services in the EU .

– I attach great importance to this award as it represents the result of cooperation that have lasted for the last few months, and – I hope – will still continue in the future – said Radosław Mleczko at the end of his speech, referring to the process of consultation on the enforcement directive with the social partners.

Labor Mobilis Honorary Prize is awarded for outstanding contribution to promote and support labor mobility and free provision of services, which employ more than 340 000 Poles in the EU countries and secure existence of 24 000 of Polish companies.

The laureate of Labor Mobilis is chosen by the Competition Jury, which includes representatives from the world of politics, science, business and administration: Danuta Jazłowiecka MEP – winner of Labor Mobilis 2013; Barbara Balon – Polish Association of Social Insurance; Łukasz Puciłowski –  business representative; Stefan Schwarz – President of Labour Mobility Initiative; Marek Benio, Ph.D. from the Cracow University of Economics. Honorary member of the Jury is prominent Polish economist, Prof. Jerzy Hausner.
