The prominent economist Professor Jerzy Hausner became the Ambassador of our event. Professor will give the opening address, and thus open the Congress on Monday morning. As the Honorary Member of the Labor Mobilis 2014 Competion Jury, Professor Hausner will also participate in the works of the Jury, and in the Labor Mobilis 2014 Statuette Awarding Ceremony during which this honorary prize will be awarded.

Professor Hausner is the Head of the Department of Public Economics and Administration at the Cracow University of Economics. Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Labour and Social Policy. Adjunct Professor in Transition Economies at the International Center for Business and Politics, Copenhagen Business School.

Professor is a Member of the Polish Economic Society. Member of the Monetary Policy Council. Member of the Economic Sciences and Labor and Social Policy Science Committees at the Polish Academy of Science. Member of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute Advisory Council. Since 2014 works in Bruegel, at the Brussels European and Global Economic Laboratory.

He is the laureate of prestigious Kisiel Award (2004), established by Stefan Kisielewski himself in 1990.
