We are pleased to announce that Marianne Thyssen European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility will take part in this year’s European Labour Mobility Congress. Previous participation in EKMP III gave the Commissioner the opportunity to familiarise with the Polish perspective on the European dispute about the future of posting of workers, on which legal framework the existence of thousands of Polish service companies and employment of more than 400,000 Poles depend. We hope that also this year’s visit will provide an opportunity for unofficial meetings with representatives of the Polish authorities and the world of science and non-governmental organizations.
It is very likely that the Commissioner Thyssen will share during her speech on the first day of the Congress preliminary assumptions for the planned for December this year revision of the regulations on coordination of social security systems, which could become the shake not only for the Polish service providers, but also for the Social Insurance Fund .
Fourth edition of the ELMC will be the largest of all previous editions in terms of both the expected number of participants, as well as speakers and experts. The first day we dedicate only to the issue of the revision of the posted workers directive, which aims to, among others, equalize the salaries of workers posted to local employees and shorten the time of the posting of workers for up to 6 months. On the second day the workshops with experts for a business representatives will be held. This year we schedule at least 10 lectures, which will be hosted by lawyers and experts of the best Polish law and consulting firms specializing in various aspects of labour mobility and services.
We invite you to register.
